2017 event just three days away!

St George's Centre entrance

The 2017 Leeds Hidden Talents Employment Fair is just three days away and we have a few new developments to share! A handful of new stallholders have been confirmed since our last update, whilst the final schedule for speakers is also in place.

For the stalls, we are delighted to announce that British Gas are coming for the first time. The energy firm have a call centre in the centre of Leeds and an academy not too far away. Leeds City Council Building Services will also be present!

On the steps into employment side of things, Specialist Autism Services will have stalls for their apprenticeship scheme and their self-employment support offering. The Lighthouse Futures Trust will also be around, offering internships.

Speakers for employers

We have three talks lined up for employers, which are about:

  • Autism awareness
  • The Access to Work scheme for autistic jobseekers
  • Reasonable adjustments for autistic employees

To read the full schedule, visit the 2017: What’s On page. You can find further details about the talks on our Speakers and Workshops page.
