FAQs

Who can attend this event?

Autistic adults living in the Leeds City Council area – click here for a map – can come. Employers who don’t have a stall but want to network can come too. You can also come if you’re a parent or carer of an autistic adult in Leeds or are a professional who works with autistic adults in the city.

I’m not from the Leeds area. Can I still attend?

This event is for people in the Leeds City Council area and is funded for people in Leeds. Unfortunately, it isn’t really open to people in neighbouring areas such as Bradford and Wakefield.

How do I confirm my attendance?

You don’t need to book; just come along in person.

I’m an employer but have missed out on booking a stall. Can I still attend?

If you would like to book a stall for future events, please contact us.

I’m the parent/carer of an autistic person? Can I come on their behalf?

You can. If your child isn’t able to come but you want to get information for employers, then you’re welcome to visit.

I’m planning on coming to the event by car. What are the parking arrangements?

There is a small car park outside the venue, but the spaces available are for drivers with blue disabled parking badges only. Otherwise, there are multi-storey car parks near the Merrion Centre, on Westgate and at the Light Shopping Centre which are a short walking distance from the venue.

I experience sensory overload. Will your event take my needs into account?

We will try to make the event as autistic-friendly as possible. We will leave sufficient space between stalls so that the fair isn’t too crowded, while we also have a quiet room for anyone who needs a little quiet time if the noise level is too high.
